1. Scope
These terms govern the rental of trailers and utility vehicles offered by Transloc.
2. Vehicles
Transloc offers:
- Motorcycle trailers (3 bikes capacity, max 600–622 kg load)
- Tipping trailer (max 580 kg load)
- Mercedes Sprinter L2H2 (2024)
Vehicles are authorized for use within Europe, subject to applicable laws.
3. Driver Requirements
The renter must hold a valid driving license (minimum category B).
The renter is fully responsible for the vehicle during the entire rental period.
4. Booking and Payment
Bookings are confirmed upon full payment via Stripe.
All payments must be made in CHF.
Cash payments are not accepted, except for the security deposit.
5. Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the booking
- After this period: no refund
- No-show: no refund
6. Security Deposit
- Trailers: CHF 250
- Van: CHF 1,000
The deposit must be paid in cash or via TWINT and will be refunded after inspection of the vehicle.
7. Insurance and Liability
No insurance is included.
The renter is fully responsible in case of:
- Accident
- Theft
- Damage
A deductible of CHF 1,500 applies in case of damage.
8. Vehicle Condition
An inspection is carried out at pickup and return.
The renter is solely responsible for any damage.
9. Use of Vehicles
It is strictly prohibited to:
- Overload the vehicle
- Violate traffic laws
- Use the vehicle improperly
All fines and violations are the sole responsibility of the renter.
10. Late Return
Late returns will be charged accordingly.
Transloc reserves the right to request compensation if the delay impacts another customer’s booking.
11. Fuel (Van)
The van must be returned with a full tank.
Otherwise, refueling costs will be charged.
12. Mileage (Van)
250 km per day are included.
Additional kilometers are charged at CHF 0.95 per km.
13. Breakdown / Availability
In case of breakdown before the rental, Transloc will attempt to provide a replacement vehicle without guarantee.
No compensation can be claimed.
14. Geographic Area
Vehicles may be used within Europe, provided the towing vehicle complies with Swiss regulations.
15. Liability Disclaimer
Transloc declines all responsibility in case of misuse of the vehicle or violation of applicable laws.
16. Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
17. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by Swiss law.
